There are 2 comments on Summer Internships Often Key to a Job

  1. I agree on the importance of keeping in touch with your supervisor because it maintains that relationship and keeps you fresh in their mind for the next recruiting season. I recently had lunch with my summer internship supervisor and was thrilled when he gave me a job offer.

I think building up a linkedin profile and network is also very important. In today’s world, why not use social media to find a job? You can get recommendations from your past employers and eventually you’ll start getting interviews through linkedin from recruiters looking to meet with you.
