BU Alums Release Debut EP
Love in Stockholm play Harpers Ferry on Friday

Join Love in Stockholm band members as they celebrate their debut EP, Too Much Love, at Harpers Ferry in Allston Friday night. Comprising several BU alums, the musicians are no strangers to the BU music scene, having played at BU’s MLK Peace Concert last year and at the George Sherman Union’s BU Central. Now they’re attracting local attention — the Boston Globe described them as “a rock, jazz, and funk fusion party.”
Band members include Dave Carroll (CFA’08), Charlie Geyer (CAS’08), Brendan McBrien (CAS’08), Neil Mirochnick (CAS’08, COM’08), and Evan Sanders (CAS’03, SED’09), a lecturer in the College of Arts & Sciences.
Also performing will be the bands Turkusa, the Genetics, and King Orchard.
Love in Stockholm will play at Harpers Ferry on Friday, February 20. The show is 18-plus and begins at 8 p.m. Admission is $10. For directions, visit the Harpers Ferry Web site. For more information about the band, visit their Facebook page.
