  1. I was deeply touched reading this emotional, but pleasant story of people who have leveraged hope and perseverance to achieve their dreams. I am even more excited that MET is the college making actualization of recipients’ dreams possible through its scholarship scheme. That is the way to be socially responsible!

  2. What a wonderful story! Yes, MET’s scholarship program is to be lauded as well. But the stories of the first two recipients are breathtaking, heart-rendering, and inspiring. Please send these two women best wishes, go-get-‘ems, and sincere congratulations from at least one admirer.

    Sincerely,
    Sam Lynch

  3. The article brought tears to my eyes. This scholarship program exemplifies what is best about MET — offering a first class education to capable, non-traditional students in a creative and entrepreneurial way. –Mary Ellen Mastrorilli, Assistant Professor, Metropolitan College

  4. Vicky: Really enjoyed your portrayal of the two MET parent scholarship recipients! You selected very poignant quotations, and put it together in a very compelling way.
    Sincerely, Naomi Moran
