Engineers Without Borders raises funds for clean water in Peru
The BU chapter of Engineers Without Borders is holding its largest fundraiser of the year, a silent auction featuring local products and services, on Thursday, October 30. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the group’s Water Filtration Project, an effort to reduce contamination and sickness in the community of Chirimoto, in Peru.
Engineers Without Borders is a nonprofit that helps developing areasworldwide with engineering needs while training responsible engineeringstudents.
The auction will take place at 7 p.m. at the Photonics Center, 8 St. Mary’s St., ninth floor. Tickets are $50 for one or $80 for two; click here to order.
