The Slip Slide into BU Central
The Slip, one of Rolling Stone magazine’s Artists to Watch in January, play at BU Central on Thursday, February 8. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.

The Slip, currently touring the East Coast with bands like My Morning Jacket, the Lovely Feathers, and the Bon Savants, will perform at BU Central as part of its LIVE Concert Series on Thursday, February 8. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., and the event begins at 9.
The Slip’s most recent album, Eisenhower, was released in November, and the song “Life in Disguise” was recently featured on Grey’s Anatomy. In a review of the Slip’s live shows, Jim James of the New York Times writes, “You see so many tired, boring rock acts doing the same thing over and over, but these guys are reaching out. They’re taking what we know of music and trying to twist it to a different place.”
