WBUR talks with BU law professor Tamar Frankel about the verdicts in the trial of Enron founder Ken Lay and former CEO Jeffrey Skilling. Lay was found guilty of all six counts against him, including securities and wire fraud, and Skilling was found guilty of most of the 19 of the 28 counts against him, except those of insider trading.

Both men were accused of repeatedly lying to investors and employees about the company’s financial health before it collapsed in 2001, placing responsibility for the largest business scandal in US history squarely on the two men’s shoulders.
