Matthias Müller, one of Germany’s hottest video artists, comes to the School of Management this Friday and Saturday, September 29 and 30, as the star of a two-day event called, appropriately, Matthias Müller: Multi-Media-Poet, sponsored by Boston’s Goethe Institut.
Famous for his short features, Müller has also worked in video and photography and has made a name for himself around the world with a wide variety of topics and treatments, ranging from lyrical explorations of the self to witty and subversive found footage appropriations of classic Hollywood movies.
The two-day conference on Müller’s work features a lineup of internationally renowned scholars and theorists. Müller will show all his films, including his latest, Kristall, one of this year’s Cannes International Film Festival winners.
