Name: Alli Meers
From: Denver, Colorado
School: College of General Studies
Major: International business

What convinced you to go to BU?

The city of Boston of course. I had come to the city for a wedding when I was a little girl and always wanted to come back — so I am!

What are you most excited about coming to college?

Meeting new people and trying new things, especially broomball.

What course are you interested in taking?

Possibly a philosophy course.

What kinds of activities do you want to become involved in?

Broomball and volunteering.

What will you miss most about home?

My mom, no doubt, but I’ll still call her every day if I need to.

What’s one interesting thing about yourself?

I am one of nine children, five of whom are adopted from South Korea, Peru, and New Orleans.
