Research Interests
My main focus is on language deficits, due to neurological disorders, and their neural correlates.
My doctoral dissertation is focused on a detailed analysis of the characteristics of aphasic speech,
with emphasis on pauses and paraphasic errors, interrelations between them, and their lesional
substrate.
Current Projects
- Connected speech variables, neuropsychological performance, and lesion correlates in
aphasia: An integrated approach. - Connected speech characteristics in English- and Greek-speaking patients with post-
stroke aphasia. - In search of neuropsychological impairment in Charcot-Marie- Tooth disease.
- Memory, executive, and language deficits in Multiple Sclerosis.
- Anatomical correlates of cognitive functions in neurotypical adults.
