Jerome Kaplan selected as the recipient of the 2025 ASHA Outstanding Clinical Service Award.

 

Jerome Kaplan was presented with the Outstanding Service Award  at the 2025 American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Convention in Washington DC on Friday November 21st. This prestigious honor is given to only two individuals nationally each year and is designed to recognize living ASHA members or National Office personnel who have offered outstanding and exemplary service … on behalf of individuals in their communities with unserved speech, language or hearing needs. 

Jerome was nominated and selected for this award in recognition of his impactful and long-standing service to the aphasia community.  He was recognized at the awards ceremony at the national convention in front of thousands of his peers.
