Zachary Bos is a writer, publisher, and arts organization consultant. He directs the publishing activities of Pen & Anvil Press, and has worked for magazines including Republic of Letters, Fulcrum, Battersea Review, and New England Review of Books. For more than fifteen years he has advised student journals at Boston University and other institutions. He has led poetry writing and reading seminars in collegiate, private and public school, community, and prison settings across Massachusetts. He presently facilitates student-led publications through the BU BookLab, and moderates a Collegiate Publishing Workshop cocurricular for the BU Hub. He is active in supporting equity and diversity initiatives in small press publishing as well as movement secularism and New England social justice circles. His writing has appeared in venues including Arts & Letters (Cambridge), The Christian Science Monitor (Boston), Morning Star (London), Istok (Belgrade), Lotus-Eater (Rome), Bosporus Review of Books (Istanbul) and Iowa Review online.
