Rudra Darai

Rudra Darai, DSW, is a clinical social worker at Boston Center for Refugee Health and Human Rights (BCRHHR). Rudra has a Doctor of Social Work from the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. In his doctoral program, he is trained in program design, implementation, and evaluation, applying design thinking and human-centered research. Previously, Rudra also earned MSW in Clinical Social Work and a Certificate in Urban Leadership from Simmons University. He has more than seven years of experience as a family therapist. In his current role, Rudra utilizes trauma-informed and resiliency-based models, narrative exposure therapy, and a radical hospitality approach to serve refugees and immigrants with variant trauma experiences.
