Spiritual Counselor, School of Theology, Boston University

Boston University

Jeremy (Any pronouns) is a queertrans survivor theologian, hospice spiritual counselor, and poet. Shaped by lived experiences of death and violence, Jeremy seeks to uplift the inherent divinity found in the methods which queer and trans people utilize to live, focusing especially on substance use and sex (sometimes work) as essential to surviving in a violent and oppressive society. Jeremy received their BA from the University of New Mexico, both their Master of Divinity and Master of Sacred Theology from Boston University School of Theology, as well as two graduate certificates: one in professional ministry from Hartford International University for Religion and Peace, and the other in Women’s Gender and Sexuality from Boston University. Along with their vocational passions, Jeremy draws life from fantasy and sci-fi (anime, comics, books, movies, games, etc.), spending time with their pooch/shadow Padme, and supporting local queer artists and advocates.
