AMNESP’s House and Home in American Culture
Welcome to AMNESP’s 2010-2011 conversation series, House and Home in American Culture. Our last meeting of the semester will be held Wednesday, April 20, at 226 Bay State Road, Room 110. See the full spring schedule below, and click here for information on our past conversations.
The theme of our year-long conversations series is the American house and the concept of home. Freestanding houses are a particularly American dream, which find range for expression in a variety of media. Over the course of this academic year we will hold a series of discussions on the theme of house and home from the view of a variety of disciplines, including architecture, literature, and the visual arts. We look forward to seeing you at our meetings!
