BU Art Gallery Opening Sept. 9th, 6-8 PM
The Boston University Art Gallery cordially invites you to attend the opening reception of American Letterpress: The Art of Hatch Show Print on Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 6-8 PM.
American Letterpress: The Art of Hatch Show Print features approximately 100 historical and contemporary posters and hand-carved wooden blocks from one of the nation’s oldest printing shops, Hatch Show Print, based in Nashville, Tennessee. The exhibition illustrates the fusion of art with popular culture and music history, highlighting the uniquely American posters produced to advertise everything from vaudeville shows to Elvis Presley albums.

Film Screening – “Proceed and Be Bold”, Tuesday, October 12th, 7pm at the Coolidge Corner Theater
