Dorree Ndooki was born to a traditional Maasai family in Tanzania then was raised in Western MA from age 7.
She graduated from Skidmore College in 2023 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in French studies. While at Skidmore she worked with the John B. Moore Documentary Studies Collaborative’s Co-creation initiative, Black Dimensions in Art, and Storyteller’s Institute. She also took dance classes in ballet and modern and performed in several independent and student led dance shows.
Since graduating she worked as the Office Coordinator for FamilyAid Boston a non-profit focused on reducing homeless in the greater Boston area.
