About the Author
Rebecca Fisseha is an Ethiopian-Canadian writer. Her first novel is Daughters of Silence (Goose Lane Editions, 2019). Rebecca’s short stories, essays, and articles have appeared in various publications, most recently in the story collection Addis Ababa Noir, the Humber Literary Review, and Tongues: On Longing and Belonging Through Language. Born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, as well as Austria and Switzerland, Rebecca currently lives in Toronto, where she is completing her second novel.
