Congratulations to
Assistant Professor Saida Grundy who has been selected for the Neu Family Award for Excellence in Teaching in the College of Arts and Sciences. In his congratulatory note to Professor Grundy, CAS Associate Dean Joe Bizup noted that, “This academic year was, of course, a challenging one for all members of the CAS community, but especially for our students. We are thus especially grateful to you for the commitment and care you demonstrated in your teaching this year. Candidates for teaching awards must be nominated by one or more colleagues. A committee made up of past teaching award recipients then reviews the candidates and offers its recommendations to the Dean, who makes the final selections.” Professor Grundy will be honored at the final CAS faculty meeting of the semester, scheduled for Wednesday, May 5.
