Contextual Education 3
STH TC 803
Graduate Prerequisite: TC801 and TC802. TC803 is a course for students who have already completed their Core Contextual Education requirements and seek advanced experiential learning through an internship placement within a faith community, local non-profit, chaplaincy setting, or social justice agency. In addition to a 15-hour/week internship placement, students in TC803 participate in an every-other-week 1.25 hour “Integrating Theology & Practice” peer reflection group with readings and case study theological reflection papers that deepen their personal and professional leadership formation. Internship sites must be approved by the Contextual Education Office before registration & students must complete a background check as part of their placement process. See the Contextual Education Office portion of the School of Theology website for the full internship placement process and deadlines. Can be taken for variable credit.
