Our course will examine cinema as art, engaging with diverse films and voices from around the world. We will explore how films reflect and distort our material realities, and appreciate them within their socio-cultural and historical contexts. Effective Fall 2018, this course fulfills a single unit in each of the following BU Hub areas: Aesthetic Exploration, Historical Consciousness, Research and Information Literacy.
