Undergraduate Prerequisites: First Year Writing Seminar (e.g., WR 100 or WR 120) - How has stargazing shaped understanding of our place within the world? Art draws inspiration from astronomy--and astronomy from art. This team-taught course traces the symbiotic history of these two ways of knowing and exploring the cosmos, culminating in a creative project. Effective Fall 2019, this course fulfills a single unit in each of the following BU Hub areas: Scientific Inquiry I, Writing-Intensive Course.
