The Research Year and Half-Year (1 semester) Programs are for BU medical students interested in taking a year off from the medical curriculum to pursue full-time research with a BU faculty member. Students accepted into this program will remain registered and enroll for fall and spring semesters (full year) or 1 semester (half year). Students will receive a scholarship to pay for research tuition costs.
