Changing a Specialization or Adding a Minor
University Policy
Wheelock College of Education & Human Development Policy
Undergraduate Students
Students enter Wheelock College of Education & Human Development with a declared major/program. If students wish to change their specialization or program or add a minor, they should plan to meet with their advisor or a specialist in Student Services to discuss the process and impact of this change. Students are then required to submit the Undergraduate Program Changes form. Please contact the Wheelock Data & Enrollment Management office with any questions.
Graduate Students
Graduate students who wish to apply to change programs must contact the Wheelock College Graduate Admissions office. Generally, students will be asked to submit any materials required for application to the new intended program. The Program Director of the new intended program, in consultation with program faculty, will make a final decision on whether a student is admissible to the program the student wishes to enter.
