SCROLL

On a sunny April afternoon, when the Charles River Campus should have been buzzing with packed sidewalks, busy bike lanes, overflowing shuttle buses and MBTA trolleys, full classrooms, and bustling dining halls, it was a ghost town, thanks to the coronavirus pandemic that forced BU into a virtual learning world. A drone soaring as high as 250 feet captured a day-long look at the campus, a video of a campus eerily devoid of any people, any human interaction whatsoever, reflecting an unprecedented moment in the University’s rich and storied history.
