Explore, Learn, Grow

Join us July 13-20, 2018 for Summer Pathways, an immersive, one-week program at Boston University. Stay in a BU dorm, spend an overnight on Thompson Island, visit labs and learn about state-of-the art research, get advice from career panels, and learn about the college admissions process.

Summer Pathways is an opportunity for young women to discover the infinite possibilities that await them in science and engineering fields. Participants arrive on a Friday afternoon, and for the duration of the program, live in a BU dormitory.

Participants will meet and have the opportunity to interact with undergraduate and graduate students, post doctoral fellows, faculty, and women working in industry from across STEM disciplines. They will learn about a broad range of STEM research and have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and find out more about careers in a variety of STEM fields.

Summer Pathways combines labs tours and hands-on activities with a taste of college life and some good old-fashioned fun. It offers young women in high school a unique opportuntiy to learn about research and careers in many new and emerging fields.
