Graduated in Letters (English, Portuguese and Literature) from Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) (2001).
Specialization in Reading and Writing of Texts from Portal College of Passo Fundo (2008) and in Letters (Linguistics and Portuguese Teaching) from Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) (2011).
Master’s degree in Letters (Applied Linguistics) financed by Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) at Catholic University of Pelotas (UCPel) (2013).
Nowadays doctoral student in Letters (Linguistics) at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), also financed by Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), and advised by professor Dr. Lilian Cristine Hübner.
FULBRIGHT International Visiting Student at Boston University Sargent College, conducting research in aphasia under the supervision of Professor PhD. Swathi Kiran.
Research Interests
English and Italian Language Teaching, Second Language Acquisition, Cognition and Bilingualism/Multilingualism, Bilingual and Monolingual Aphasia and Syntactic Processing in Aphasia.
Current Projects
Presently a member of the research group GENP (Group of Studies in Neurolinguistics and Psycholinguistics) at PUCRS and of the research project “Discourse, semantic and syntactic processing in aphasia: a longitudinal study with structural and functional neuroimaging”, both under the coordination of Dr. Lilian Cristine Hübner.
