Members of the BU Spoilers Golf Club gathered for their 38th annual golf outing: Anthony Williams (CAS’75, Questrom’78) (from left), Derek Harps (Wheelock’72), Curtis Bolden (Wheelock’75), Patrick Diamond (Wheelock’72,’73), Wendell Webster (Questrom’72), and Robert Keene (CAS’73). During the past 10 years, the golf club has donated more than $100,000 to nonprofit summer youth programs in a number of cities, including Boston.

Matt Fusfeld and Alex Cuthbertson

Matt Fusfeld (COM’01) (left) and writing/producing partner Alex Cuthbertson (CGS’00, COM’02) are executive producers and showrunners for Apple TV+’s Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, which won a 2025 Children’s and Family Emmy for Outstanding Children’s or Family Viewing Series. “We have been working in Hollywood for the past 20 years and have written on many popular shows (such as American Dad, Community, and New Girl)—and it all started by meeting and becoming friends on Comm Ave,” Matt writes. He also met his wife, Jessica Replansky (COM’01), a TV costume designer, at BU.

Ryan Walsh

Ryan Walsh (COM’01) of West Roxbury, Mass., is a guitarist and lead singer of Hallelujah the Hills, a beloved Boston indie rock outfit: Joseph Marrett (in front, from left), Ryan, Brian Rutledge, and Nicholas Ward; Ryan Connelly (seated to the left of the piano) and David Michael Curry (behind him). In June, they released DECK, a visual album in the form of 52 songs on two discs that correspond to a hand-designed deck of playing cards. Ryan wrote and performed all the songs and designed the deck himself. Upon its release, Boston magazine dubbed DECK its album of the year for 2025, while the Boston Globe called it “the band’s most daring and imaginative undertaking yet.” Learn more at www.hallelujahthehills.com/music. Dennis Wright

Dennis Wright (CFA’98) of Pleasant Grove, Utah, was honored in June with a 2025 Costume Design Award from the Costume Society of America, for his designs for Brigham Young University’s production of House of Desires by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. The CSA’s costume design award is given annually to recognize excellence in costume design in a production for theater, film, television, or other media that involves dressing living performers. Dennis is an associate professor in BYU’s theater and film department and is the university’s artistic director for theater.

In early 2025, the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) released its annual 10 Under Ten, celebrating the diverse impacts of 10 dental professionals and MDS members who have graduated from dental school within the last decade and made significant contributions to the profession or their community. Among this year’s honorees were four graduates of BU’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine: Ashish Agarwal (SDM’17) of Boston, Mass.; Arifa Bakerywala (SDM’18) of Boston, Mass.; Lindsey Janof (SDM’19,’22) of Boston, Mass.; and Ruchieka Vij (SDM’20) of Windham, N.H. The dentists were honored at the 2025 Yankee Dental Congress in Boston.

Terri Ann Motosue

Terri Ann Motosue (LAW’98) of Honolulu, Hawaii, was recognized by Pacific Business News as a 2025 Woman Who Means Business at a ceremony in March. In the spring of 2025, she was elected a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and in October 2024 began serving as Hawaii’s regional chair for the American College of Mortgage Attorneys.

Vijay Rajendran (Questrom’00) of Burlingame, Calif., published The Funding Framework: Secure Startup Funding with Confidence (Leaders Press, 2025), which guides entrepreneurs through the complex world of start-up funding. Drawn from Vijay’s experience in start-ups and venture capital, The Funding Framework contains pragmatic insights and advice for the aspiring venture founder.

Parth Mutha (MET’24) of Ujjain, India, was included in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list for his vegan soybean snack company, PROMUNCH. The snacks come packed with protein—a must for vegetarians and vegans—and flavored with South Asian spice blends like masala and peri peri.
