Sergeant First Class Brian Levensailor of Maine is a patient at Walter Reed Army Medical Center after suffering back and brain injuries in Afghanistan. Levensailor was recently moved out of condemned Building 18, but says the biggest problem in the system is not the living conditions; rather, the problem is the lack of patient advocacy and help for soldiers navigating the military’s tricky disability rating system.
