Fall 2014 Leave of Absence/Withdrawal Deadline – 12/2

Undergraduate students wishing to take a leave of absence or withdraw for the Fall 2014 semester must do so prior to the semester deadline of 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2Students with on-campus housing assignments must also complete residence check-out and return of keys within 48 hours upon arranging the leave/withdrawal.  If you are considering a Fall 2014 semester leave of absence or withdrawal and have not already spoken to an associate director, please review the information available on our website and then contact the office before Thanksgiving Break, so that we can discuss your plans and assist you with the necessary paperwork.

Due to the increase in office traffic surrounding the December 2nd deadline, we will assist students with Fall 2014 leaves of absences and withdrawals following the Thanksgiving Break on a drop-in basis on Monday, December 1 and Tuesday, December 2, between the hours of 9 and 11 a.m. and 2 and 4:30 p.m.  We will begin assisting students with Spring 2015 semester leaves of absence and withdrawals on Friday, December 5.

August 11 – 29, 2014 Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST
August 30 & 31, 2014 Labor Day (Saturday & Sunday) 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST
September 1, 2014 Labor Day (Monday) 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST
September 2 – 5, 2014 Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST

First Gen Students: Finals Study Break on Friday, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Calling all first gen students to the last event for the 2013-2014 academic year!  Stop by the USC for our end of semester study break, Friday, May 2, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Enjoy a short respite from finals and papers, grab a snack or two, and say goodbye to friends before you head separate ways for the summer. February Drop In Topic: Financial Assistance

Cold Fashioned Ice Cream Social

Students, Faculty, and Staff:  President Brown and Dean Elmore invite you to Cummington Mall on Friday, May 3rd at 4 p.m. for a study break. It's a Cold Fashioned Ice Cream Social. Ice cream (and other sugary treats), music and games to thank you and to finally breathe out.
