Time and Place

The Boston University Wind Ensemble’s Time and Place concert was held at the Tsai Performance Center March 26. Performing works that each transport the listener to a time and place, the repertoire included Holst’s Hammersmith (1930), Jessie Montgomery’s Coincident Dances (2019/2023), Nelson’s Rocky Point Holiday (1966), Bach works with transcriptions by Lucien Calliet, and Gotkovsky’s Poeme du feu (1980).
