Wish You Had One of These?

BU’s two Trecan PD-80 snow melters on Agganis Way got quite a workout this week after a major storm dumped more than 20 inches on Boston Sunday and Monday. Each machine can melt up to 80 tons of snow an hour, and as of Friday, about 1,000 tons had been melted. The snow is trucked from all over campus and the melted water goes down storm drains.
