Landscapes Near Me, Richard Raiselis Retrospective at 808 Gallery

The works in Richard Raiselis: Landscapes Near Me, at the 808 Gallery through March 7, were created by the retired CFA associate professor of painting over three decades in and around Boston, from University studios to high-floor city views and his suburban home. Raiselis embraces shifting light, weather, and spontaneous encounters with nature to shape large, vivid works made directly from life. Among those attending the February 12 opening reception were Katelyn Eveland (CAS’28) (left) and Ellie Prudhoe (CAS’27). Photo by Lily Jurman (COM’26)
