8th Annual IDEA Con

Innovate@BU’s eighth annual—and largest—IDEA Con entrepreneurship conference, held at the George Sherman Union on October 25, drew 540 attendees from schools across the Northeast. Sponsored by Cynthia Cohen (MET’77), BU Board of Trustees vice chair, the event featured TED Talk–style presentations from five student entrepreneurs. Workshops covered design, pitching, networking, and AI-enabled side hustles, and were led by industry experts and faculty from Tufts University, UMass Lowell, and Endicott College. The conference wrapped up with an Entrepreneur Bazaar and a dessert networking event, where attendees could shop local ventures’ products and services. Photo by Austin Boyer
