Flashback Friday: A BU Christmas, 1951 Style

Santa selling Christmas stockings! Really? Well, it was probably for a good cause. These College of Practical Arts and Letters (PAL) students seem to have the holiday spirit and be willing to shell out the 35 cents. History lesson: the BU College of Practical Arts and Letters originated in 1919 as the College of Secretarial Science and in 1924 was absorbed into BU and later ceased to exist as a separate entity. 1951 photo by BU Photography
