COM Reopens, Classes as Usual Today

March 25, 2016
Boston firefighters are extinguishing a fire in the studio of the WTBU radio station on the third floor of the College of Communication at 640 Commonwealth Avenue. Boston University Chief of Police Tom Robbins, who was on the scene, said the building has been evacuated, and there are no apparent injuries. Robbins said several students exited the building covered with soot. Robbins said the suspected cause of the fire is electrical, but a thorough investigation will begin when the fire is extinguished. Students are advised to stay away from the area.
