Rev. Lambert Norman Rahming, Jr., is the Associate Pastor and Community Minister of Sanctuary United Church of Christ, an electric congregation of West Medford. Before coming to New England, he attended Morehouse College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. During his time as a music teacher in Boston Public Schools, Lambert discerned a call into ministry and enrolled at Boston University School of Theology. In January of 2016, Lambert graduated with distinction, receiving a Master of Divinity degree along with multiple awards for preaching, liturgy and scholarship. A proud child of the 90s, Lambert holds an acute affection for proclaiming the Good News through a millennial lens. He is an ordained Deacon in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and is passionately pursuing Elder orders in the AME Church and dual standing in the United Church of Christ. Moreover, Lambert is one who loves God, loves people, and strives to prove it.
