I am passionate about establishing and sustaining faith communities with a vocational parish ministry focus in church planting and redeveloping congregations. I am most inspired when I help to nourish and strengthen multigenerational and multiethnic lay leaders to be Christ’s ambassadors inside and outside the walls of the church. St. Gabriel’s has an English and Spanish language worship ministry in a very diverse exurb of Washington, DC. In 2014 St. Gabriel’s the first bilingual, authentically inclusive, multicultural Episcopal congregation in Loudoun County. Learn more at: http://www.saintgabriels.net.
I was invited to consider ordained ministry by my parish priest, an STH distinguished alum, the Rev. Dr. Titus Presler in 1999. I entered parish ministry after pursuing a dual master’s degree in Divinity and Social Work from Boston University in 2006; I have served congregations in Salem, MA, Baltimore, MD, and Leesburg, VA. I am married to Parker Gallagher, the love of my life, who introduced me to the Episcopal Church in 1996. In my free time I enjoy the company of family and friends; cooking, traveling, yoga, the beach, music, dancing, golfing, and learning.
