Dr. Mara Meyer Epstein is a cancer epidemiologist whose research focuses on cancer screening, treatment, and survival; healthcare utilization and outcomes; health equity; and aging and multimorbidity in relation to cancer. Her current work focuses mainly on hematological malignancies, including lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and precursor monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance, as well as solid tumors. Dr. Epstein’s recent research incorporates large, real-world electronic health databases to validly identify cancer-related endpoints for population-based research.
