
Sarah Bald
Graduate Student, Ph.D. Program in Bioinformatics, Hariri Institute Fellow
Sarah is a PhD student in the Bioinformatics program and she is interested in the complex dynamics of microbial communities, specifically as it applies to human health. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Computational and Systems Biology from UCLA in 2022 where she worked with Dr. Nandita Garud and her group on evolutionary genomics of the human microbiome. Outside of her research, Sarah enjoys cooking, board games, and being outdoors.
