Graduate Outcomes
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in orthopaedic manual physical therapy
- Communicate effectively in all interactions with patients/clients, other health care providers, and insurance regulators
- Engage in the critical review, interpretation, and synthesis of scientific literature and apply relevant findings to clinical practice
- Demonstrate effective teaching to colleagues, novice physical therapists, physical therapy students and patients.
- Exhibit high standards of professionalism in all clinical, research, and educational activities
- Attain fellowship status in the AAOMPT
Program Outcomes
- 70 Fellows have enrolled in the program since January 2015
- 85 percent of students have completed the program (75 percent in 2015; 80 percent in 2016; 90 percent in 2017; 85 percent in 2018; 85 percent in 2019 (COVID-19 delays and No class in 2020, 100 percent every year since 2021 with an average time 12 months)
- All completed students have disseminated their work at professional conferences, institutions of higher education, or clinical organizations
- More than 75 percent of graduates have gone on to engage in academic teaching and/or attained clinical leadership roles
