BU’s three-year MFA Playwriting Program features workshops, seminars, professional actors in the classroom, and full productions of students’ work. MFA Playwriting Candidates receive full tuition scholarships, healthcare, non-service stipends, and teaching fellowships.

The MFA Playwriting Program is no longer able to accept applications for admission. We will remain in operation through the 2028-29 academic year.
