Defendant pleaded that he was seised of the land and found the plough and horses damage feasant, trampling his grass, and took them.
Plaintiff replied that defendant took the plough and horses on plaintiff's land.
Defendant rejoined tht he found the plough and horses damage feasant on his soil and chased them onto plaintiff's land.
Plaintiff rebutted by denying that the plough and horses were taken in the land where defendant had justified.
Issue joined.
