Lea Hebert

Born and raised in Costa Rica, Lea Hebert is now a junior at Grambling State University studying Biology. From doing experiments with her little sister as a child to studying Biomechanics in college, she has always been passionate about using science to help others.

This summer, Lea worked in the Tissue Microfabrication Lab under PI Christopher Chen on post-heart attack healing of the heart through engraftments.

Lea plans to apply to dental school following her undergraduate education.
