Daimean Solis

Daimean Solis is a junior studying Biomedical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. After a biology professor exposed him to point-of-care testing, Daimean realized he could significantly impact people without access to quick diagnoses, like some of his own family members in Mexico.

This summer, he worked with Coalesenz developing a point-of-care blood testing device called the iCoagLab Platform, under PI Seemantini Nadkarni.

Daimean will plans to apply to MS programs at BU, Berkeley, JHU, and UC Boulder after graduating in May 2025.
