Vol. 44 No. 2 1977 - page 246

It
smashed us again
There is you lying there and me over here
With a headful of dreams.
And I to you, another galling flash
You have seen it before, but now you have learned the
advantage.
The peak, the growing oldness and the ground downness;
Something that may, but probably may not be something.
How may it be, that even we... .......we may not be reconciled.
I cannot reconcile you with me
Although I do not tell you I predict what's in your head
The half-barrier of what you feel for me is up
and I have seen it all before.
It
is a fear of what I knew before and the awareness have
reached since means nothing.
And if it could be, that you and me, we know
Would or would not our choices differ?
And is it of interest: me here and you?
