WRITERS FOR CARTER
The following is a list of people who agreed to join a writers' committee for
Carter, organized by William Phillips and George Plimpton . Unfortunately , the
Democratic National Committee did not have any funds for the usual advertisement
listing the names in the NewYork Times. Weare nowpublishing these names for the
record. In addition, we have asked all those who signed to write a few words about
what they feel are the main problems facing the new administration, and we are
printing here the responses received in time for this issue.
