Faculty

James (“Cam”) Camarinos, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT is the program director of the BU Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency. He is also the clinic director at the Boston University Physical Therapy Center (BUPTC). Cam has completed a full fellowship in manual therapy at the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. He is involved in the care of all injuries, and in particular, works with a team of BUPTC clinicians to care for patients who have sustained a concussion. Cam is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences where he now serves as adjunct faculty leading coursework in Health Care Management and as a lab instructor in the spine course.

Diane Dalton, PT, DPT, OCS is the program coordinator of the BU Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency. Diane is also a clinical associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at BU Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences and a physical therapist at BUPTC. Diane has extensive experience teaching across the curriculum at Sargent College, notably as lead professor of musculoskeletal coursework focused on the spine, in addition to maintaining her clinical practice throughout her teaching career. She is a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy and a certified manual therapist. Diane received a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Assumption College, a Master of Science in physical therapy from Columbia University, and a Doctor in Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions. Diane’s clinical interests include spinal disorders and bringing evidence to practice.

Lee Marinko, PT, ScD, FAAOMPT is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at BU Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Lee is also is the program director of the BU Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Program and as well as a physical therapist at the BU Physical Therapy Center (BUPTC), which offers comprehensive rehabilitation services to anyone within the local community including but not limited to BU students, faculty, and staff. Lee has extensive experience teaching across the curriculum at Sargent College, notably as lead professor of musculoskeletal coursework focused on the upper extremity. Lee has completed a full fellowship in manual therapy at the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Lee is a board-certified specialist in orthopedics through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She is an active member of the APTA, serving on various committees and boards. Lee received a Bachelor of Science Degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University’s Bouve College of Health Studies and a Doctor of Science Degree in movement and rehabilitation sciences from Sargent College.

Sorcha Martin, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT is a senior physical therapist at BUPTC as well as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Her academic instruction focuses on clinical education, clinical medicine and orthopedics. Sorcha completed a full fellowship in manual therapy at the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Sorcha received a Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology and athletic training from Lasell College and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences.

Caleigh O’Brien, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is a senior educational physical therapist at Boston University Physical Therapy Center. Caleigh is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, and she completed her residency in Orthopedic Physical Therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Caleigh is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and completed the Boston University Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship. She serves as a lecturer of the foot/ankle and running content and is lab faculty in the lower extremity musculoskeletal curricula at Boston University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Caleigh is also a mentor and faculty member in Boston University’s Orthopedic Residency Program. Caleigh also contributes to the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and the orthopedic residency program. Outside the clinic, Caleigh enjoys running marathons, traveling, and spending time with her golden retriever.

Jonathan M Raymond, MSPT, FAAOMPT is a senior physical therapist at BUPTC. Jonathan has completed a full fellowship in manual therapy at the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Jonathan is a mentor in the Boston University Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship as well as a teaching assistant in the DPT program at BU Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Jonathan received his Bachelor of Science Degree in rehabilitation science and a Master of Science in physical therapy from Northeastern University’s Bouve College of Health Science.

Trace Sears, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is a senior physical therapist at BUPTC as well as a clinical instructor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Trace is board-certified in orthopedics by the American Physical Therapy Association. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Trace serves as one of the mentors within the BU Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in health studies, a Master of Science in physical therapy, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University Sargent College. At BUPTC, Trace serves as co-CCCE, leading our clinical education programs. His clinical interests include lower extremity biomechanics and foot/ankle disorders. Trace completed the Boston University Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellowship and is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy.

Maria Stavros Shevory, PT, DPT, ATC, FAAOMPT is a senior physical therapist at BUPTC.  Maria received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Doctor of Physical therapy degrees from Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Maria is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. She completed a full fellowship in manual therapy at both the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and Boston University Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship. In her free time, Maria enjoys working out at Orangetheory Fitness, lounging at the beach, and watching football games surrounded by plenty of buffalo chicken dip.

Dan Sieczkiewicz, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT is a physical therapist at BUPTC. Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Health Studies and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degrees at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences, and he completed full fellowship training in the BU Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship program. Dan is also an instructor in BU’s DPT program where has taught in musculoskeletal labs for the last six years. Previously, Dan was a physical therapist at Proex Physical Therapy, where he served as a mentor for the BU fellowship program.
