Frequently Asked Questions

Can I modify my recordings after they are archived on MyMedia?

For each recording, roles can be defined to allow users the ability to modify archived recordings on MyMedia. These roles are:

  • Co-Editor: Ability to make changes to the content such as update metadata, trim media, edit captions, and more. Can’t publish or delete content.
  • Co-Publisher: Ability to publish content to other platforms (i.e.-Blackboard) without editing.
  • Co-Viewer: Ability to view the content from their My Media page.

You will be able to define who should be assigned these roles within the Recording Request form.

How will I be able to access my recordings?

A sharable link will be provided to the recording. Anyone who has this link will be able to view the recording.
