Graduate Research Forum
The Linguistics Graduate Research Forum (GRF) is a series of meetings held several times throughout the semester for graduate students to gather and discuss various topics of interest, such as students’ current research, new topics that students want to work on, or questions for faculty about the world of academia and related subjects.
In the past, students have used GRF as an opportunity to practice conference presentations or present a topic they’re actively researching. There have also been meetings on non-academic topics (e.g., linguistics work in private industry).
If you have any questions, ideas for a particular meeting, or an interest in presenting, please reach out to the organizers.
