Grace Wu wins CIMIT graduate fellowship
Grace Wu, a LEED member and a graduate student in Biomedical Engineering has received CIMIT graduate fellowship for her work on a comprehensive cell phone based multiplexed device for rapid HIV detection. The Center for Integration of Medicine and Innovative Technologies or CIMIT will provide tuition, stipend and travel funds to Grace. Grace is one of two BU students to win this prestigious fellowship. Grace will use these funds to develop and implement a novel cell phone based system for rapid detection and accurate counting of CD4 in remote, resource limited settings.
